Phymatosorus scolopendria

by | Jan 12, 2014 | Ferns, Florula, New Collections, Santa Catarina Island | 0 comments

This was growing as an epiphyte on the side of a trail that was in the vicinity of many houses and surrounded by secondary Atlantic Forest. Phymatosorus scolopendria is a paleotropical species so the individual was probably cultivated or had escaped cultivation (F. Matos, pers. comm.).
