Cranfillia sprucei

Instead of pressing this monster right away, we threw it in the back of the pick-up truck where it shriveled up into a blackish mess on the way home. It is one of the worst specimens I have ever made.

    Using a sealed plastic bag can be a good way to preserve the plant if you cannot press it at that moment.
