   Rolla Tryon transferred this species to Cerosora more than 20 years ago because this species is not closely related to the type of Anogramma. Tryon’s hypothesis is consistent with recent phylogenetic studies confirming the separation of this species from Anogramma. Thus please refer to this species with the currently accepted name Cerosora microphylla instead of Anogramma microphylla. If you want to ignore the differentiation, you would need to include also all species of Pityrogramma into Anogramma.
