Pleopeltis fayorum

Pleopeltis fayorum is restricted to the western side of the Andes in Ecuador and Colombia. It can be distinguished from other speices of Pleopeltis by the distinctly bicolorous rhizome scales and the stellate-divided adaxial laminar scales.
