Serpocaulon eleutherophlebium, vel. aff.

by | Oct 15, 2014 | Ferns, New Collections | 2 comments

This plant appears to be close to S. eleutherophlebium, but differs by short dense pubescence on the lamina.  Has anyone else encountered plants like this?

This plant could be S. subandinum, which is dense pubescent.

Thanks for the suggestion David! Would that be a new record for Costa Rica, or do you know of other records from there? I think I have a duplicate I can send you.
